JobCapture
This is the program that does the document tracking and keeps a list of all the work you've been doing and helps you organize your work too. It sends its information to the Manager.
Improved JobCapture Palette
This sleek and streamlined update will be a pleasure to veteran user’s eyes. It looks better and works better too! It includes the ability to collapse the palette to a smaller size.
New Job Jacket Powers
An Action Tab has been added which will be expanded upon. Currently you are offered the option of moving or copying documents to the correct folder in the Document Pen.
Job List Update button
Job list updation is now much more efficient. Not only will JobCapture let you know there have been changes to the Job list, but it will only get the changed information rather than the whole list as was previously done.
History Palette
Recent documents are listed and can be accessed easily as information or files opened. A real productivity helper.

Easy, self-configuring installation
Now just run the client application and it gets everything it needs from the CaptureWorks Antenna. Run and go!
iCal Integration
You have the option to send log records to iCal which can later be viewed as calendar events.
Much improved CPU performance
JobCapture now plays much better with others...giving other apps first crack at the CPU as it should be! Use almost no CPU to do it's work.
The Manager
This is the program that sets the preferences and behavior of JobCapture and collects all the data over the network then generates reports and invoices and/or passes the data to other programs or databases.
Internal database switched to SQLite
Everybody is saying great stuff about this cross-platform database solution. Apple even built it into their system!

But because of our enhanced connectivity, you can easily send and receive data to/from any external db that supports ODBC or XML.

Departments
All lists can now be divided into departments (or not) so different groups of people can use jobs and activities, etc. that are unique to their group. There is also a global department for all common lists.

New Document Pen Preference
This is the root path to a folder or volume that can store your assets in a hierarchical folder structure matching your Client/Project/Job hierarchy. This exciting new form of asset management works the way you work. We refer to it as transparent asset management using “Document Shepherding.” The Document Pen is where assets are “shepherded” to. When you close a document, if it doesn't already reside in the right folder, JobCapture can create the folder for you and move or copy the file there. This optional feature can even be used as a simple backup-as-you-go function.

ODBC Import/Export Plugin
This plug-in opens up 2-way communication with almost any standard database including: MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL and MySQL.
Invoice Creation
You can now create professional invoices and mark jobs as billed for. PDF versions of your invoices can be viewed at any time in the built-in invoice viewer.
Improved Reports
All aspects of creating reports have been improved. Create report presets so you can quickly view your data in various ways.
Invoice Viewer
Allows you to review past invoices in a convenient browser dialog. All invoices are crisply formatted PDFs.
Installer no longer needed so removed from menus
The client apps are now self-configuring so installers are not needed.
Enhanced JobCapture and PrintCapture Settings Dialogs
Many new configuration options, yet we made the interface simpler.
All communication is now XML-based
This make JobCapture forward compliant so you can keep old client versions and still communicate with newer Manager applications the come along. It also means that other metadata can be easily added to the information passed around.

Changes only sent
Before, the entire db was sent on each update. Now we only send the changes which is much more efficient.
Smart Updates
Now checks on internet on interval for any CaptureWorks component updates and links you to them.
