TaskCapture is a powerful, precision time and activity tracking solution designed for single-users, freelancers, or anyone looking to track time accurately without the effort. TaskCapture automatically tracks working time on in-use documents in any standard application.



How it Works
The patent pending DocuSensetm technology triggers the Auto Job Jacket (OS X seen below) to capture time associated with worked-on documents, opening a dialog box at the perfect moment, when a document is closed, eliminating the potential for human error!
TaskCapture automatically tracks real working time no matter how many documents are open; however, only the front document's timer is active, while time associated with idle documents is paused. TaskCapture knows when you have stopped working, so if you step away from your computer for lunch or a meeting, the timer pauses.
TaskCapture also remembers which client you have assigned worked-on documents to, automatically filling in previously assigned client and job information, as well as rounding up accrued time in your billing increment. (Windows users can also customize their dialogs by adding a photo as a "skin" as well.)

Even off-screen work, such as phone calls or meetings, can be easily recorded and added to the TaskCapture database. Designed with a single-click timer for easy start/stop control, the TaskCapture Palette simplifies complex work patterns by providing more time capturing flexibility, including batch-processing activities.

 

The multi-function TaskCapture Palette provides convenient buttons for logging miscellaneous tasks or activities, such as phone calls or meetings.

Simply browse your tasks by date, client, and/or keyword search, and TaskViewer will render a list of all tasks and worked-on documents matching your criteria. From this data, TaskViewer can create automated invoices or timesheets, or populate your calendar to help you better understand how your time is being spent each week, month, or year.
In addition, since your billing rate can be entered into your general preferences, billed time is automatically calculated for each line item, creating a flawless record of your work.
